A brief review of the article Title - Escape to Privacy After starring in 17 Disney films, Kim Richards left Hollywood for motherhood. Her first appearance on television was at the age of 8 months in a carpet commercial. By the age of 5, she was on "Nanny and the Professor", and by the age of 8, she was the second child actress to win a long-term contract with Disney. Kim now has 4 children, Brooke, 14; Whitney, 10; Chad, 9; and Kimberly, 5. Her father, Ken, died in 1998. Her mother, Kathy/Kathleen, was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1998. They split up in 1972. She has 2 sisters, Kathy, 41; and Kyle, 31. Kim says she gave up acting because she loved being a mom. Now that her youngest daughter is in school, she is thinking about returning. My own comment: We know that returning to acting will be good news for many of us, but whatever she decides to do, I'm sure all her fans just want her to live a very happy life. She brought happiness to a lot of people.
