It's really funny because I met Kim the first time back in 1976 at a restaurant in the San Fernando
Valley called The Spaghetti Factory. I am the same age as Kim and I was there to attend a birthday party. It
was really getting boring so I went to the lobby of the restaurant and while I was there Kim walked up to me
and asked me if I wanted to play a sit down video game with her. I knew who she was by seeing her on TV
and in the movies, but I didn't say anything because I didn't want to appear starstruck. We must have spent at
least an hour together and she was so nice and down to earth! Then we said goodbye and a few days later I
was in a dress shop trying on jeans and there she was! She remembered me and told me not to buy those
jeans because they were too tight and I wouldn't be able to breathe....LOL....now, all these years later I am in
Petco today and who is there,,,,Kim, her mother and her little daughter buying a snake of all things. We had a
long discussion about reptiles and I just couldn't bring myself to tell her that I know her from way back. If she didn't
remember she probably would think I was some nut case! Now, I sort of feel like I should have said
something. Oh well, since I live in Palm Springs maybe I will run into her again. If you do happen to read this

Kim,
Tuff Turf was my all-time favorite movie as a young teen. I was 11 years old when I dragged my dad to see
the R-Rated film. The commercials for the movie piqued something in me, and I instantly had a crush on you.
Tuff Turf was also the first movie I bought on video when I found it a couple of years later for sale. I still
watch the movie regularly, and think your portrayal of Frankie is sexy and sensational.
It was so nice seeing you in various roles throughout my youth. I was always very excited when the Diff'rent
Strokes repeats would feature your Ruthie character.
I hope you are doing well, and had a joyous holiday season in 2001.
Films are a form of art, and they last forever. You will always have a place in my memories of a fun
childhood.
