It has been many years since I have played with Kim as a child. Between her busy career and difficult schedule, and the distance from each other it became harder and harder to keep in touch and eventually, like life does, things move on. I still remember playing with you and Kari Anne Waters, who I have also lost touch with. You were a very sweet person as a child, very warm and giving. I hope life has treated you well and you continue to be the loveable, sweet, warm person I knew when we were little.

I have just turned 40, and was recently asked of all of the so-called celebrities I have ever been exposed to, who would I most like to meet and spend the day with. This was an unfair question as I would have to take into account many fields of influence: living or deceased, music, stage, film, animation, political figures, religious figures, etc. To present with perfect clarity that I am not one to compose a "fan letter", that changed last October when I stumbled upon Cherie Currie (The Runaways) while doing a little research. Her persona had an enormous impact regarding the way I would view the music industry in the mid to late 70s. What pleasantly surprised me even more was that she was actually gracious enough to respond... Today started out with a little research on Louis B. Mayer and some of his famous quotations. It ended here, after doing research on Mary Pickford, Maude Adams, Morgan Fairchild, Marcus Loew, Jill Townsend (Cimmarron Strip/ Space 1999), and Bob Hope. (My apologies as to the length that this will turn out.) I have been interested and involved in the broadcast industry since I was a child, as well have been involved in music since age 4. This brought to mind "Hello, Larry", which in my opinion was probably one of the most realistic depictions of the industry at the time, yet by some considered the worst sitcom ever aired: I as well loved "WKRP" in which the call letters were rumored to stand for 'krap' but were amazingly close to the still-existing WKRC in Cincinnati...
Where does Kim Richards fit in to all of this? First, of course, would be Disney. At the risk of complete embarrassment, then would come the obvious hormonal crush of the "Hello, Larry" days as we are/were almost of the same age. Then came Kim's disappearance from the media. As an only child, perhaps I spent entirely too much time in front of the TV, the radio, the stages, etc., but would gain a unique perspective on all facets of these industries that perhaps the general public would not have the vision to see.
To conclude, I will answer this question conditionally; as far as actresses (living) are concerned, particularly with the morality issues that have surfaced of late and the sudden popularity of Denise Richards being broadcast on every TV and tabloid, I was prompted again to ask the question of whatever happened to Kim Richards, and with what little bit of information I have been able to absorb from this particular site, she would be my choice, without any question, as I know the value of her person from her work, from the fact that she basically has devoted herself to her family as I know personally the value of family, not only from being alone for the better part of my life but as well from the fact that God has blessed/challenged me with two of my three children having been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum disorders, and lastly, for selfish reasons, just to know how her world and her life would compare with mine, and where the common denominators would be.
Kim, God bless you. If you ever decide that you and your family would ever come to Indy for the 500, The Brickyard, or anything else, I would be honored to introduce you to my wife and children and be your unofficial host. If not, I will see you in His kingdom...
