Awesome site! I grew up watching Kim on 'Nanny and the Professor' and the Disney movies. (I am only a year older than her. We both still look great after 4 kids! Hee hee!) She is so beautiful and always has been. From what I have seen she is a genuine nice person too.

Wow! Such a neat site to pop into! While watching a TV program on Paris & Nikki Hilton, I saw that Kyle Richards is their aunt, so I was curious about "how" they were related, and to my surprise, their mother Kathy is Lisa and Kyle's sister, whom I never knew about. Interesting. Lisa was one of my favorite childhood stars I grew up with. Great site! I can't wait to do more reading.

I noticed the Escape to Witch Mountain DVD on the shelf at the video store and it immediately brought back memories of when I was a young boy. I had seen the film seven times in the theaters when it was first released. Of course, I bought it immediately.
It's easy to explain why the movie captivated me when I was younger. It's harder to explain why the movie has stayed with me all these years. I have found myself humming the theme many times over the decades between then and now. Occasionally, I think about the movie for no apparent reason. I know the effects don't hold up very well, but the movie was never about the effects. It was about the characters and the concept.
No matter how many remakes and sequels there are, there is only one Witch Mountain film for me.
By the way, I loved the Blair Witch Mountain Project.

I saw Kim Richards at HCS in January. The last time I saw her was at LAX airport in 1977 when we were seeing a friend off at the airport for a red-eye flight. At the show, someone asked about the ring Kim was wearing on her right hand and I think she said it was 7 carats. She was very friendly but I was a bit disappointed to not see any Nanny and the Professor cast photos. Only Tuff Turf and other photos of her as a teen and more recent. Her handler talked about having some Prudence headshots printed up for future appearances. I was disappointed to see a sign that said she charged $5 per photo of her and $10 for a photo with her. That's a shame. When you buy a photo from a celebrity for $20+, I believe the gracious thing is let a person take a photo (gratis). Many of the other celebs do that. They even suggest that you get in the photo with them. She did tell a cute story. She was at Chuck E. Cheese's with her kids and a waitress had a "Tia" nametag. Kim commented on the name and the waitress said something like "My Mom named me after the 'Tia' character from Witch Mountain". Well, Kim told the gal that that was HER. Of course the waitress didn't believe her. Anyways, Kim told the girl to tell her mom that Kim Richards says "Hi." Cute story, huh?
